The master thesis The Issue of the Satisfaction and Access of Foreigners into the Health Insurance (A Case of the Czech Republic) focuses on the topic of the situation of foreigners residing in Czechia and their access into the social security system, especially into the systems of public or private health insurance systems. The thesis brings to light the system of residences and legal statuses and how they affect the range of rights that foreigners can possess, with special emphasis put on their access into the public or private health insurance systems. It also offers an analysis of both public and private health insurance systems and critically compares them.
Stay of the third-country nationals in the Schengen Area in the common visa policy framework

The thesis deals with the development of the Schengen cooperation and characteristic of the Schengen acquis transforming in the course of time, with the stress on the field of visa and residence/migration policy. Main emphasis is on the valid legislation concerning the status and stay of the third country nationals. The thesis looks into problematic parts of the legislation, both theoretical and practical, and provides opinion of the author on those matters. The thesis is divided into four main spheres. The first one concerns development of a visa and migration policy in the framework of development of the Schengen cooperation and its gradual integration into the main EU policies, its definitions and different participation of the Member States. Following key part of the thesis deals with the current valid provisions of the stay of the third country nationals (citizens of the countries outside of the EU). This part defines subjects of law coming from the third countries, as differentiated by the Union and Czech law and defines various types of authorization to stay which entitle them to short or long-stay at the Schengen or Czech territory. Employment of immigrants in the Czech Republic

The content of this study is the issue of labor force immigration and employment of immigrants in Czech Republic. Thesis is based on economic theory and description of current legislation including the expected development, which are supported by analyses based on data from the Czech statistic agency and respective ministries. The main goal of the thesis is to refute the prejudices of negative consequences of immigration, especially economic migration, and to assess the situation of employment of immigrants in terms of all stakeholders, ie state as the creator of the legislative environment within which labor contract can be concluded, employers, both in terms of legal obligations concerning employment of immigrants as well as possibilities of employment of such group and at last, but not least, the thesis focuses on immigrants themselves, who are undoubtedly the most vulnerable group.
